Jacksonville_ Tuesday_

My dear darling—

Well I can at

least say I am alive but

I never expected to get

here so we laid outside

of Cincinnatti nearly all

night. On account of that

washout which was so

we missed connection

with every thing

ought to. And we

never got in to this

place until 2 o’clock

every saturday night I tell you honey your old girl was about used up when we got here- the conductor carried me from the train through the depot to the carriage I cannot tell you any thing about the place as I can only see from the window the <train> <> <> + there is a grand view opposite that makes me think of South America I will write every day darling but am very weak tonight.
